We only had drinks, they were good. A really fun place to spend a few hours, duck bowling, ping pong, arcade games, etc.

Public Bar and Rec hosted our CP Boys basketball players, friends and family after senior night. The staff was so accommodating, the food and service was top notch! We will all be back!

Attended a birthday party, and all of the servers were so incredibly nice and helpful. The duckpin bowling was so fun! Highly recommend. Really enjoyed our time and stayed for several hours. Outdoor area was so great, too! I only tried the loaded fries, and they we're very good. We got a shared cocktail for multiple people, and it was an amazing value.

For being a bar that was relatively busy, the atmosphere was quiet and cozy. We were able to talk and hear each other, which is unusual for a bar setting. My food was phenomenal! The truffle fries are a must! The three day chili was amazing! I wish I could remember the name of the grilled cheese burger I got, because it took was delicious. Our waitress was very attentive and friendly. Can't think of anything that would improve this place as it was perfect. Will definitely be going back!

Excellent. We went around 1 for a quick duckling bowling and simulators for my daughter’s bday. Was a totally last minute thing in our part. . They were able to fit us right in. We had so much fun. Food was excellent and staff went above and beyond checking in on us. Highly recommend.

Public Bar & Rec in Crown Point is an absolute favorite! The atmosphere is fun and welcoming, the food is always delicious, and the drink selection is top-notch. The staff is friendly, attentive, and makes you feel right at home from the moment you walk in. Whether you’re stopping by for a casual night out, meeting friends, or catching a game, this place never disappoints. Highly recommend checking it out if you’re in the Crown Point area!

Food was great. Service was great!. All in all place was a great vibe! Ask for Joey or Alana!! They seriously make bartending on a busy night look easy! Always attentive and aware of your presence. Couldnt ask for a better night out and as a bartender myself, this experience was out of this world! Much kudos to the hardworking staff at public!!!!

Finally found a Sports Bar in crown point! I was there Saturday for the bears game, and the DJ was Rocking!! It was such a great atmosphere to be part of! Also the wings are FIRE! Ive ordered delivery and in-restaurant, and the wings are delivered saucy, beefy and tasty! 10/10

Always have a lot of fun at public. Good food, nice atmosphere especially with the christmas decorations, and friendly staff. Been here 3 times within the past two weeks and had the red head server everytime and she was amazing and so was the food. Recommend the smash burgers. Manager Shawn is nice and helpful.

We stopped in on a Thursday night and while the restaurant was already pretty full, we were seated right away. The younger ones in our party got fun soda drinks. All of our food was hot & delicious! Of note; I got the shrimp tacos and asked them to sub in the Buffalo shrimp and it was DELICIOUS! While there we also participated in a musical bingo game, which was fun for our multi generation party; some older songs, some cuurent songs. (We didn't take advantage of any of the games, but they look fun and will definitely bring us back.)
